Day 1

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up and driven to Tarangire National Park. This expansive park, about the size of a small country, boasts a landscape of savannahs, baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. It’s a haven for a variety of wildlife, including hartebeests, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and over 550 bird species.

The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, which have become accustomed to safari vehicles, allowing for closer observation. After an exciting game drive, you’ll head to Twiga Campsite just outside the park for an overnight stay.

DAY 2

Today, you’ll journey through lush highlands where corn, coffee, and wheat are grown, heading towards the Serengeti National Park. The name “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai language, meaning “endless plains,” which perfectly describes its vast grassy savannahs.

The landscape features kopjes, unique rock formations where predators often perch, scanning the area for prey. The Serengeti is famous for the world’s largest animal migration. Depending on the season, you might witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras trekking across the Serengeti and Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You’ll spend the night at Dik Dik Campsite in the Seronera Valley.

DAY 3

Today is dedicated to further exploration of the Serengeti National Park. The park is teeming with wildlife, including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it’s most renowned for its migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. Their movements are influenced by rainfall, with November to December seeing them in the south and April to June in the north. Keep an eye out for predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions. You’ll spend another night at Dik Dik Campsite in the Seronera Area.
