Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport,  meet and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

With picnic lunch spend, full day birding and game viewing in Arusha NP, return to your hotel in Arusha later in the afternoon for dinner and overnight

Drive to Tarangire NP with birdwatching stops game viewing on the way to your hotel or camp in the park. Arrive there for lunch and rest. Head out in the afternoon for slow pace birding and big game viewing.

Leave the camp or lodge with picnic lunch and spend the whole day out for slow pace birding and big game viewing. Return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Depart early in the morning to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Conduct birding and get more opportunities for big game viewing and photography before checking out at the park entrance on your way to Ngorongoro. Optional bird walk around the lodge area.

Lunch and Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Karatu town.

Early drive to Ngorongoro crater for birding, big game viewing and photograph opportunities. After excitement for crater wall descending here is our chance for the endangered Black Rhino, the Lions and more big games. Continue birding on the crater rim on our way out when ascending,for highland specials.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or hotel at Karatu town.

Spend about 2 to 3 hours in the morning birdwatching a beautiful Endoro trail to Elephant cave in this part of Ngorongoro highland forest searching for some missing species and head back to the hotel, load our luggages on the vehicle and start our journey back to Arusha after lunch.

Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Arusha

With picnic breakfast leave early to Lark plains for a super endemic and endangered Beesley’s lark and other dry country species. Return to your hotel in Arusha for lunch and relaxation.

With picnic lunch, Start our second arm of birding and wildlife expedition by leaving the hotel after breakfast driving Eastwards to the dry Maasai steppe country for more dry country specials that inhabit the rich Somali-Maasai biome. After some stops on our way, later check in at Elephant Motel in Same town – South Pare.

Early breakfast then drive to South pare mountains for Endemic South pare white-eye, some stops on our way back for the missing dry country species and mid afternoon drive to West Usambara Mountains. Set up our camp in the mighty Magamba Forest and spend some time at the campfire after dinner storytelling and keeping our ears open for owls and nightjars

Spend the day birding in Magamba forest for Usambara endemic and specials.

Start the day early before breakfast, walking in the forest trails searching for birds, get back to your camp for breakfast, take a rest and continue birding again until lunch time. Take a break in the mid day before starting another walk in the afternoon.

Spend a bit of night time searching for the endemic Usambara nightjah and chameleons.

Morning bird walk searching for the missing species before breakfast. After breakfast, pack our tents and start the journey to the Legendary Amani Forest in Eastern Usambara Mountains. Few birdwatching stops on the way, arrive at Amani in the afternoon.

Spend time birdwatching around the lodge area before dark.

Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Full day birding in this beautiful birding area searching for East Usambara specials.

Take a cup of coffee or tea with snacks and head out for some missing birds. Back to the lodge for breakfast and drive to Tanga town where you will have your lunch before taking the ferry to Pemba island.

Birding in the afternoon searching for Pemba specials such as Pemba scops owl, Pemba white-eye and more.

Birdwatching in the morning for some missing species and relaxation in the afternoon to enjoy the property and the sea.

Early morning ferry to Tanga where we shall take a vehicle and drive to Uluguru mountains.

Birding in the Uluguru mountains searching for some Uluguru endemics and specials such as the Uluguru bushshrike, Uluguru mountain greenbul,  White-winged and Chapin’s apalis and many more.

We shall depart early in the morning to Rubeho mountains for two nights searching for Rubeho akalat, Rubeho forest partridge, Rubeho warbler, Yellow-throated mountain greenbul and a rare and recently discovered Gallardy’s sunbird. And more species.

Drive to Udzungwa mountains NP, arrive in the afternoon with optional birdwatching around the lodge before dark. Next morning we shall hike in the Udzungwa mountains searching for Udzungwa mountains endemics and special birds and primates. In our last evening we shall visit Magombera forest for a super elusive Pel’s fishing owl.

A visit to Magombera forest can be twice, in the first and last evening in order to maximize the chances.

Check out at the lodge early in the morning with packed breakfast to Kilombero river valley for Kilombero and white-tailed cisticola, Kilombero weaver and more Kilombero specials. Continue our drive to Mikumi, lunch at Ifakara town and arrive at Mikumi town in the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight at Tanswiss hotel or similar hotel.

With picnic breakfast, leave early to North of Mikumi for Miombo woodland species, check out at the lodge or hotel in the afternoon to Dar es salaam.

Morning bird watching at Pugu hills forest reserve for some lowland forest and coastal species such as East coast Akalat, Four-colored bushshrike,  lowland tiny greenbul and Kretschmer’sLongbill. Drive back to your hotel in the afternoon and wait for your international flight back home.
