Terms and Conditions
Booking and Payment
A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the tour. For bookings made less than 30 days before the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing and will be effective on the date received by Freebird Wildlife Expeditions. The following cancellation charges apply:
- More than 60 days before the tour start date: Full refund of the deposit.
- 30-59 days before the tour start date: 50% of the total tour cost.
- Less than 30 days before the tour start date: No refund.
Please note that no refunds will be given for unused services or portions of the tour.
Changes to Bookings
Any changes to bookings must be made in writing and are subject to availability. Changes made less than 30 days before the tour start date may incur additional charges.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants and should cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, and loss or damage to personal belongings. Freebird Wildlife Expeditions is not responsible for any costs incurred by participants due to insufficient insurance coverage.
Health and Safety
Participants must inform Freebird Wildlife Expeditions of any pre-existing medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and fit to participate in the tour. Freebird Wildlife Expeditions reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or who may jeopardize the safety of themselves or others.
Liability
Freebird Wildlife Expeditions will not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost, or other claim of any nature arising directly or indirectly from the tour. Freebird Wildlife Expeditions is not responsible for any delays, alterations, or cancellations caused by natural disasters, weather conditions, war, civil unrest, strikes, or other factors beyond our control.
Conduct and Behavior
Participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards local communities, wildlife, and fellow travelers. Freebird Wildlife Expeditions reserves the right to remove any participant from the tour without refund if they engage in illegal, disruptive, or offensive behavior.
Visas and Travel Documents
Participants are responsible for obtaining and carrying all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates. Freebird Wildlife Expeditions is not responsible for any costs incurred due to incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.
Itinerary Changes
While we strive to adhere to the itinerary, changes may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, wildlife movements, or other factors beyond our control. We will make every effort to minimize disruptions and provide suitable alternatives where possible.
