Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, located near Kibale National Park in Uganda, is a biodiverse haven encompassing an array of wetland habitats. Spanning over 4 square kilometers, this community-run sanctuary offers visitors the opportunity to explore its pristine wetlands, dense forests, and sprawling papyrus swamps. Home to over 200 bird species, including the elusive shoebill stork, as well as a variety of primates such as colobus monkeys and chimpanzees, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary provides a unique and immersive wildlife experience in the heart of Uganda.
